Mesh 3.0 with up to 2 km between two bikes, up to 17 hours of Mesh talk time and second-generation Harman Kardon speakers.
Why it stands out
The 60S is Sena’s flagship and on paper beats its big rival, the Cardo Packtalk Edge, in almost every area:
- Range: up to 2 km (about 1.2 miles) in Mesh between two users, and up to 8 km chaining six or more bikes.
- Battery: up to 17 hours of Mesh talk time and up to 24 hours in Bluetooth, according to Sena.
- Sound: 40 mm Harman Kardon speakers, second generation.
- Groups: Group Mesh for up to 24 riders and Open Mesh with a virtually unlimited number of users.
It also adds Wave Intercom, which uses your phone’s data to talk to other Sena users at any distance.
What to know
It is a feature-packed unit, and that costs some ease of use. The buttons are physical and work well with gloves, but to get the most from it you will need to spend some time in the Sena app.
Our verdict
If you are going to spend on a premium intercom, the 60S is currently the most complete option. The Cardo Packtalk Edge is still simpler to fit and use.
