Resolution and sensor
- Insta360 Ace Pro 2: up to 8K at 30 fps, a 1/1.3-inch sensor and a lens co-engineered with Leica.
- GoPro HERO13 Black: up to 5.3K at 60 fps.
The Insta360 wins on maximum resolution and, thanks to its sensor, does better in low light. The GoPro offers more frames per second at high resolution.
Battery
Insta360 claims up to 180 minutes. GoPro, over 2.5 hours at 1080p30 with its Enduro battery, which is also designed to perform well in the cold, a plus if you ride through a UK winter.
Water resistance
12 m for the Insta360 and 10 m for the GoPro. Both shrug off rain.
Accessories and lenses: GoPro wins
The HERO13 takes interchangeable lenses and has the biggest range of mounts on the market. If you already own helmet or handlebar mounts, they are almost certainly GoPro-style.
