Action camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor, Leica lens, 8K at 30 fps video, up to 180 minutes of battery and waterproof to 12 m. Ideal for tunnels, sunsets and vlogs.

Why it stands out

The Ace Pro 2 is Insta360’s “classic” action camera, and its big strength is image quality. Its 1/1.3-inch sensor and a lens co-engineered with Leica give it the edge when the light drops: dawn, dusk, woods or riding in and out of a tunnel.

Our verdict

If image quality matters most to you, especially in low light, it is one of the best action cameras around. The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro still wins on battery life and water resistance.
