Flip-front whose chin bar rotates 180° to the back, HPFC composite shell, 1,600 g according to LS2, P/J approval, sun visor and a Pinlock 120 Max Vision included.
Why it stands out
On most flip-fronts the chin bar lifts and sits above your forehead. On the Advant X it rotates 180° to the back of your head: open, the helmet looks and behaves like an open-face, without the leverage of a raised chin bar.
Key figures
- ECE 22.06 P/J approved.
- 1,600 g according to LS2, with an HPFC composite shell.
- Internal sun visor and Pinlock 120 Max Vision included.
- Metal micro-ratchet and sizes from XS to 3XL.
Our verdict
If you switch a lot between town and open road, it is one of the most practical flip-fronts, with very good value for money. If you spend hours on motorways, a Schuberth C5 or Shoei Neotec 3 is quieter.
