Mesh-only intercom with up to 24 riders in Group Mesh, 2 km range, up to 18 hours of talk time, Bluetooth 5.2 for phone, music and sat nav, and a glove-friendly jog dial, according to Sena.
Why it stands out
The Spider ST1 is the cheapest way into Sena’s Mesh. It drops what a group of Sena riders uses least (Bluetooth intercom) and gives you lots of battery in return.
Key figures
- Group Mesh of up to 24 riders and Open Mesh with six channels.
- Up to 2 km range in open terrain.
- Up to 18 hours of Mesh talk time; full charge in about 2.5 hours.
- Bluetooth 5.2 for phone, music and sat nav.
- Jog dial designed for gloves and a 60 g main unit.
Our verdict
If your whole group uses Sena, it’s hard to get more for less. If anyone rides with another brand, a Sena 50S or Cardo Packtalk Neo is a better bet, as they also talk over Bluetooth.
