Mesh 2.0 and Bluetooth intercom with Harman Kardon speakers, up to 2 km between two bikes and up to 13 hours in Mesh. Sena's Mesh and Bluetooth at a sensible price.
Why it stands out
The 50S was Sena’s flagship before the 60S and it is still very capable. Now that it is not the newest model, it is usually considerably cheaper, which makes it the most affordable way into Sena Mesh.
Key figures
- Mesh 2.0: in open mode it supports a virtually unlimited number of users.
- Up to 2 km between two bikes in open country according to Sena, and much more when chaining several bikes in Mesh.
- Up to 13 hours in Mesh and 16 hours in Bluetooth. Twenty minutes of fast charging gives about 2 more hours.
- Harman Kardon speakers and Sena’s trademark jog dial.
Our verdict
If your group uses Sena and you want to spend less, the 50S is a very logical buy. If you are starting from scratch and can afford the difference, the Sena 60S has more battery and more modern features.
